This comes in useful when you want to give something a little extra weight and then adhere it to another surface. For example I have stuck pieces of collage paper to this film and then cut them out if they are very intricate - no curling edges. This is double sided but has a thicker white middle section than a tape would have for instance, great fun too for adding glitter to cards - stick one side on a card and sprinkle glitter over the other ... or beads .... or whatever.
