I have been using a Japanese screw punch for several years now and I simply love it a a gadget. It's easier than a long reach punch as you can make a hole anywhere in a project but more importantly .... you can make a hole through multiple layers of card or paper and even acetate.
This is a slightly different make to the original one I bought - but also half the price so that sounds ok! To make the hole you simply choose the size and swap nozzle things accordingly and then push down and if necessary twist a little to help it through the layers.
