Wizard Embossing & Cutting Dies and Accessories
For everyone that has discovered the fun you can have with a Wizard - here you go - we are starting with a selection of dies that I have found particularly useful - when we can we will add cards that feature some of the die cuts made from these dies - but as a starter here are some dies and all at very reasonable prices.
There are many discussions to be had about which die cutter is best but the one thing I have really loved about my Wizard .... is the ability to emboss the die cuts and not just have flat boring shapes.

This is one of my favourite and most used dies - if you have a gap on a card and can't think what to stick on - this is just the thing - fills space, adds elegance and has plenty of other uses too.

Buckles galore here that look lovely with some pretty ribbon. I have created some with gold mirri card and then blackened them a little with black Stazon on a dauber to age them - or the other way round - try using black mirri and rub some gold on to highlight the embossing.

This is a fun die - the watering can and flower pot are very handy for gardener's cards and the little trowel is very cute ... again I used a mirri card - silver this time and then aged it with a nice murky dark wax!

These butterflies are apparently one of the best selling wizard dies - and I can see why - I do a bit of gold mirri card for one section and then use a contrast and the butterfly looks brilliant - quick to use and endlessly useful!

As soon as I can get the sample card on the website for this I will - I will have to nominate this die as my favourite - takes a short while to cut out a few blades - I went mad and did about nine - but the resulting fan is just WONDERFUL - tie it together with cord or ribbon and add a mini tassel and it's just the star of the card - I die cut it in black mirri and then rubbed gold over the embossing - just gorgeous.

These are quite large coins - I have had great success die cutting them from gold mirri and then using dark coloured rub on wax to dull down the gold mirri and make them look weathered - this also shows up the pattern well.
