Materials

1 A4 Sheet of JS Stardream card.
1 A4 Sheet JS Gentle Gloss Photo Paper.
1 A4 Sheet JS Elegance Satin 160gsm Paper.
1 A4 Sheet JS Gold MirriCard.
Sticky Stuff – I used Pinflair Glue Gel, Foam Pads and Double Sided Tape.
JS Hollypond Hill Double CD Set
– I used two images from CD2.

Step One

There is a section on the CD which explains how to isolate a single image and import it into a graphics or word processing programme. It also explains how to use the interactive facility on the sentiments. The images and sentiments used will fit onto 1 A4 sheet of JS Gentle Gloss photo paper.

Use the largest image of the rabbits with the vegetables. I cut away the checked border. The images should be re-sized to measure approximately 8cms x 11.5cms.

Use the second largest afternoon tea image and re-size it to approximately 7.3cms x 10cms.

Choose and personalise two complementary sentiments.

Print out the sheet.

Use an A4 sheet of JS Elegance Satin 160gsm paper, and print out a matching backing paper. I chose the small roses paper.

Step Two

Using an A4 sheet of JS Stardream Card, landscape orientation, measure, mark, score and cut as shown.

Step Three

The illustration shows the blank card once it has been cut and folded.

Apply double sided tape to the underside of the 2cms strip of card at the right-hand side of the card front, and to the underside of the strip at the back of the smaller easel flap. Both are shown in pink. Stick down onto the card base.

Step Four

Mount the toppers, 2cms strip and sentiment bases, onto gold mirri card and backing paper as shown.

The width of the toppers, strip, sentiment bases, should be the same width as the easel flaps but the height of the topper can vary slightly.

Large Topper A, 10cms x 13.5cms

Smaller Topper B, 9cms x 11.5cms

Sentiment Base C, 9.9cms x 7cms

Sentiment Base D, 8.9cms x 5cms

Strip E, 2cms x 19cms (approximate – the length should be more than 15cms).

Step Five

Attach the toppers to the front of the easel flaps.

Line up the sentiment bases with the toppers and attach to the card base, using foam pads to give height. They will form the restraints to retain the easels in position.

Attach a sentiment to each of the sentiment bases using Pinflair Glue Gel so the sentiment is sloping.

Attach the 2cms strip to the side edge of the card and trim off any overhang at the top and bottom.

Optional - cut out some of the small flowers and leaves and attach to the strip to decorate.

Step Six

The Illustration shows the side view of the card.

This card will fold down and fit in a C5 envelope.
