Evening Dress Stamps - Card 3
It's sad that you can't see the real beauty of this card - the dresses are both stamped on acetate (use Stazon) and then gold leaf applied - they look amazing. The backing I have made by layering some plaid papers and toning green card. the acetate is then fixed to the card with little eyelets or brads.
Products for this Project
Dark Plaid Papers
- £9.25
inc. free postage and packing
Again these plaids are endlessly versatile and I can't recommend them highly enough - we have gone for a heavier 120gsm weight of paper and you will use these constantly.
Pack of 10 - A5 Acetate Sheets
- £2.29
inc. free postage and packing
Don't mix this up with the thin acetate that is not even as sturdy as paper. These sheets are heavyweight and more like thin card. I find this weight far easier to work with when making acetate sandwiches with pressed flowers. They seem to attract less static and make it simpler to work with - give them a try and see ...please note you can't run these through a printer - you'll need printable inkjet acetate for that
Joanna Sheen Stamps - Evening Dress - LACE JS216
- £9.73
inc. free postage and packing
Ok - you either chose both the stamps above or you need further convincing - the dress at the bottom is indeed the dress of my dreams as the words say beside it - oh I'd love to have a waist that small - and I love the neckline. The detail is breathtaking and I recommend Versafine inks for stamping - or Stazon if you'd like to stamp them on vellum.
