Step One

Print out backing papers from One Summer’s Day. The brown stripe paper with lemons is from Florals medium and the trees from Seed Packet Florals.

Choose your picture from the Thomas Kinkade cardmaking pad.

Step Two

Cut two pieces of cream card, one at 17.7cm x 21cm and one at 27cm x 21cm. Take the longer piece and fold back 7cm from the short side, making a flap. Cut tan card at 5.5cm x 21cm and using double sided tape, stick to wrong side of folded piece leaving a tan border showing.

Step Three

Using double sided tape, stick the smaller piece of card under the flap, making a card measuring 18cm x 21cm.

Step Four

Taking the brown backing paper, cut a piece measuring 20cm x 16.5cm and using double sided tape, mount onto some tan card leaving a small border. Make sure your card is in the tent fold position and mount this panel onto your card, again using double sided tape.

Step Five

Take the trees backing paper and cut a piece measuring 8cm x 17cm and add to left side of card with double sided tape.

Step Six

Cut out your cottage picture from the cardmaking pad and mount onto cream card with double sided tape, leaving a small border. Next mount this onto dark blue card, this time using foam pads and again leaving a small border. Mount the whole piece onto your card with double sided tape.

Step Seven

Cut out sentiment, attach to dark blue card and then add to your card. You can now leave this as it is if you want a flat card or add the decoupage pieces and embellishments with glue gel and a small MDF heart.
