Materials

1 A4 Sheet Stardream Card – I used Opal.

Off cut of Stardream Card for sentiment and heart.

1 A4 Sheet Gold Mirri Card.

1 A4 Sheet Gentle Gloss Photo Paper.

1 A4 Sheet Elegance Satin 160gsm Paper.

Sticky Stuff – I used Double Sided Tape, Collall Glue, foam pads and Quickie Glue Pen.

JS The Gruffies & Happy Hoppers CD.

Optional – Spellbinders Shapeabilities Crisscross Die S5-197.

Step One

Using JS Gentle Gloss photo paper for the toppers, and JS Elegance Satin 160gsm paper for the backing paper, print out the matching image and backing paper from The Gruffies & Happy Hoppers CD.

Step Two

Using an A4 sheet Stardream card, landscape orientation, measure, mark and score the red and blue lines as shown. Do not fold yet.

Step Three

Complete the remaining measurements as shown. The green strips measure 19.7cms x 1cms and should be cut away to form the cutwork strip.

Score the 4cms red and blue vertical lines either side of the cutwork strips

The measurements at the bottom of the card are identical to those at the top.

Fold the score lines easing the card into shape. Open the card out flat

Step Four

Optional – Using the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Crisscross die, position it on the outside panel as shown, butting the die up to the score line. Secure with a small piece of low-tack tape (shown in pink). Using an A4 die cutting machine, cut out the lattice. The blue line shows the 1cms x 19.7cms cut-away strip.

Repeat with the opposite panel.

Leave the centre panel plain for the topper.

If you do not have an A4 die cutter decorate the side panels to suit.

Step Five

To decorate the card:-

Corner panels – cut four pieces of backing paper 3.5cms x 4cms and mount onto gold mirri card 4cms x 4.5cms.

Centre top and bottom panel – cut two pieces of backing paper 3cms x 8.5cms and mount onto gold mirri card 3.5cms x 9cms.

Mount one of the smaller rectangular toppers onto a piece of gold mirri card approximately 8.5cms x 9cms.

Mount the sentiment on a piece of card the same colour as the base card.

Mount the heart on a piece of card the same colour as the base card.

Step Six

Attach the toppers, sentiment, and panels to the card as shown. I mounted the rectangular topper using foam pads to add dimension.

Fold the score lines to create the tri-fold card.

This card will fit in a DL envelope 110mm x 220mm.
