Print out the second size image and two sentiments from the Wedding Section of CD2 JS Hollypond Hill. Print out the matching backing paper.
Using a sheet of A4 Stardream card, landscape orientation; measure, mark, score, cut and fold as shown.
Cut a piece of backing paper 28.7cms x 1cms and mount on a piece of gold mirri card 29.7 x 2cms. This forms the easel retaining strip at the front of the card.
Mount the two sentiments onto a piece of gold mirri card approximately 8cms x 2.5cms. Attach a small ribbon tie at the side.
Cut out three of the bluebirds from the backing paper and triple emboss by pressing the bluebird into a Versamark stamp pad, covering the bluebird with clear embossing powder and setting the powder with a heat gun. Repeat the embossing twice more.
Cut two triangular pieces of Mirri card mats to fit the outer easels.
Cut a piece of Mirri card 10cms x 8cms and mount the rectangular topper on the mirri card.
If you are using the large rectangular scallop die, position the die on the easel and mark in pencil the size required for the mat (shown in red).
Using gold mirri card cut out two large scalloped rectangles. Mount the wedding topper on one of them.
Using the pencil marks (shown in red) on the die, mark the remaining scalloped rectangle on the wrong side. Cut into two – shown as A & B either side of the green line.
Trim B to fit the front of the easel as illustrated.
Cut two triangular pieces of backing paper to fit the scalloped mirri mats and trim away the excess. The illustration is shown for guidance.
Fix the two triangular mats to the side easels and mount the sentiments on top.
Fix the rectangular topper to the centre easel.
Fix the retaining strip to the front of the card using foam pads and add three bluebirds for decoration.
