Triptych Card by Sheila Weaver

Materials

1 A4 Sheet JS Stardream Card – I used Citrine.
1 A4 Sheet JS Gold Mirri Card.
2 A 4 Sheets JS Gentle Gloss Photo Paper.
Approx 60cms JS 10mm edged Organza Ribbon – I used Hunter.
Sticky Stuff – I used Double Sided Tape and Foam Pads.
JS Josephine Wall Project Book and CD.

Optional – Die from Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Circle Large.
 

 

Step One

Using Gentle Gloss photo paper print out Sheet One and the matching backing paper from Project Six on the JS/Josephine Wall CD.

If you are using a different image, you may need to re-size your card.

 

Step Two

Using an A4 sheet JS Stardream card cut a piece of card 24cms x 14.8cms and measure, mark, score and fold as shown.

Do not discard the left over card.

 

Step Three

Using the left over card, cut two side panels each 14.8cms x 6cms.

 

Step Four

Two side panels “A” measure 14.8cms x 6cms.

Cut two pieces of JS mirri card “B” 5.5cms x 14.3cms.

Cut two pieces of backing paper “C” 5cms x 13.8cms

Mat and layer to complete the two side panels.
 

 

Step Five

Mount the large topper onto a piece of gold mirri card measuring approximately 13.5cms x 11cms.

Mount the sentiment onto a piece of gold mirri card.

Mount the roundel onto a piece of gold mirri card. I used a die from the Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Circle Large.
 

 

Step Six

Attach the large topper to the centre section of the card and position the sentiment in place.

Apply double sided tape to the 3cms wide outer side panels of the card – shown in pink.
 

 

Step Seven

Attach the left side panel flush with the left side edge of the gatefold.

Attach the right side panel at the right-hand side.

Centre the ribbon on the roundel and attach to the back.

 

Step Eight

Fold the card down so the side panels cover the front of the card.

Position the roundel on the front of the card and tie the ribbon at the back.

This card will fit in a 15.5cms x 15.5cms (6” x 6”) envelope.
