Materials
1 x Sheet A4 JS Black Stardream Card
1 x Sheet White card for stamping images
Stamps from the JS Messy Rabbit Magical Collection
Black pigment ink pad, suitable for water colouring – Memento is suitable for Promarkers
Colouring medium – e.g. Promarkers or Lyra Crayons
Sticky stuff – I used Red Liner double sided tape and silicone glue
Step One
Using the sheet of black Stardream card, landscape orientation, score to create an A5 card when folded (shown by the vertical red line).
Quarter turn (portrait orientation), and score using the same score line on the scoreboard, (shown by the horizontal red line).
Score a second line approx 15mm below the horizontal red line, (shown by the green line).
Cut away below the green line, and the “X” section between the red and green line (on the right-hand side of the card). This creates a square card when folded. (See picture).
Cut a small triangular segment from the sides of the remaining 15mm wide section. This will create a flange for joining the card. (See next picture).
Step Two
Open the card and from the bottom centre point “A” score to the two outer corner points “B”.
(See picture).
Step Three
Close the card and measure and mark 148mm along the diagonal score line (shown by the blue line) from the bottom point “A” to point “C”. Mark from point “C” to each corner “D” (shown by the green line). Cut away the card outside the green line. (See picture). The card is made, crease the score lines.
Step Four
Using a sheet of white card, stamp, colour and cut your chosen images to fit on each segment of the pyramid. I used Lyra crayons and Memento stamp pad.
I curved the images to give depth and fixed them to the card using silicone glue. I also stamped some of the gold stars from Broomstick Rabbit. Add a sentiment.
Fix Red Liner Tape to the flange and join the card to create a pyramid. I found ordinary double sided tape was not strong enough to create a lasting join. (See picture).
