Best Wishes Rhino

Today we have a brand new and beautiful project which is simply made using the Signature Dies - Rhino Family SD518, Lion Panel SD519, and Safari Landscape SD525.

Materials

Signature Dies - Rhino Family SD518
Signature Dies - Lion Panel SD519

Signature Dies - Safari Landscape SD525

Oval nesting dies
240 x 210 mm card blank in white
Dark grey card and paper
Pale grey card
Inks / paints
Double sided tape, tape runner or glue, foam pads or glue gel.

1. Die cut the Rhino family three times, the Safari Landscape twice and the Lion Panel four or five times.

2. Cut a piece of dark grey card approx. 150mm x 170mm. Check that it fits on the card as in the picture and adjust if necessary.

3. Cut a piece of light grey card to fit exactly over the dark grey card. Embossing the edges will make it stand out more.

4. Using one of your oval nesting dies, cut an aperture in the dark grey card large enough for the Safari Landscape to fit neatly into. Attach to the card with double sided tape round the outer edges.

5. Cut a slightly larger oval in your light grey card, so that when put over the dark grey card, it shows a small border. Attach this with double sided tape over the dark grey.

6. Using inks or paints, colour your Safari Landscapes and Rhino family, making sure one large rhino is reversed.

7. Tear some dark grey paper to make the ground and using some glue, tuck it under your aperture edges.

8. Glue the first Safari Landscape above the torn ground and onto the white area of card showing. Snip the animals off the second Safari Landscape and using glue gel, decoupage the trees.

9. Arrange your Rhino Family around the bottom of the light grey card using glue and foam pads or glue gel.

10. Snip off the leaves from the Lion Panel, colour them in and using a tiny bit of glue, slip under the light grey aperture. You can of course use any foliage you may have.

11. Finally add a greeting, bordered in dark grey.
