Best Wishes Tea Cup

Today we have a beautiful card using the Holly Pond Hill CD. This would be so lovely for birthdays, a thank you or even a “would you like to join me for tea” card. Perfect for mums, nans, aunties and more.

Materials

Holly Pond Hill CD
180mm x 205mm card blank in white – tent fold
Tan card
White card
Some lace
Thin piece of velvet ribbon or similar in red
Double sided tape, tape runner or glue
Foam pads or glue gel

1. Print and cut out the tea cup image, the greeting, and decoupage pieces.

2. Take the white tent fold card blank and add a sheet of tan card, leaving a thin border. Don’t stick it down yet.

3. Cut a piece of white card to fit half way down the card leaving a thin tan border, then run that piece through your die cut machine with your favourite embossing folder.

4. Stick the embossed piece on the card, leaving a small border as before.

5. Cut a piece of rose backing paper to fit the bottom of the card and stick that down too.

6. lay the piece of lace across the centre of the card where the two backing pieces meet and glue down. Add the thin ribbon and take them both to the back of the tan card and attach. Attach the whole thing to the card blank with foam strips or glue gel.

7. Lay the tea cup image onto tan card and cut leaving a small border, attach this with foam pads to the top left of the card.

8. Make up the decoupage on the image and add a couple of roses to the embossed card as in the photo.

9. Complete your card by placing the greeting mounted onto tan card, onto the bottom right of the card.
