Birthday Butterfly Blooms

This beautiful project uses the Barbara Anderson 8 x 8 Cardmaking Collection Pad - Collection One and the lovely Signature Die – Wild Rose SD421. It is such a pretty card and fairly easy to make, anyone would love to receive this.

Materials

Barbara Anderson 8 x 8 Cardmaking Collection Pad - Collection One
8” square card blank in cream
Backing card in blue and black
Signature Die – English Rose SD587
Double sided tape, tape runner or glue.
Foam Pads or glue gel

1. Cut black card to fit on the front of your card blank, leaving a small border, glue down.

2. Cut blue card and stick down onto the black, leaving a small border.

3. Cut out the full image from the Barbara Anderson pad and stick down leaving a small border at the top and equal borders at the sides.

4. Cut out the border and add to the base. You may want to cut off the grey strip to fit the main image, then add the flowers.

5. Cut out the decoupage flower and butterflies and add them using foam pads or glue gel. Also cut the greeting and place on the border strip.

6. With your die cutter, cut out a dozen roses in white and colour the centres, then cut a number of leaves in green. Attach them using foam pads or glue gel, as in the photo.
