Canal Love

This wonderful project uses the Evgeny Lushpin Cardmaking Collection Pad 2 which I love, and two Signature dies Butterfly Cloud – SD593 and Trailing Leaves – SD595. This is really a beautiful card.


Evgeny Lushpin Cardmaking Collection Pad 2.
An 8 x 8 card blank in white.
Backing card in black
Backing card / paper in mid brown, patterned looks nice.
Cream card.
Signature Die – Butterfly Cloud – SD593
Signature Die – Trailing Leaves – SD595
Double sided tape, tape runner or glue.
Foam Pads or glue gel.

1. Cut black card to fit on the front of your card blank leaving a small border, glue down.

2. Cut the brown card / paper and stick down onto the black leaving a small border.

3. Cut out the beautiful image of (what looks like) one of the canals in Bruges and stick that onto black card, then cut to leave a small border.

4. Glue down the mounted image, towards the top of the card.

5. Cut the leafy strip on the same page as the image and glue that under the image as in the photo.

6. Cut out the greeting and add that onto the leafy strip.

7. Cut out some trailing leaves in cream, and colour to look autumnal. Attach these to your card as shown.

8. Cut out your butterflies twice in cream and attach them separately by their middles so the wings will stand out.
