2 A4 Sheets JS Stardream Card – I used Citrine.
1 A4 Sheet JS Stardream Card - for the bunny stand.
1 A4 Sheet + small off cut of JS Gold Mirri Card.
2 A4 Sheets JS Elegance Satin Paper 160gsm.
2mtrs 10mm Edged Organza Ribbon – I used Orchid.
Sticky Stuff – I used Double Sided Tape, Red Liner Tape and Pinflair Glue Gel.
JS Hollypond Hill Double CD Set
– I used an image from CD 2

Chocolate Rabbit – I used a Lindt Rabbit approx. 11cms tall (base to ear tips) costing £3 which is available in many supermarkets. Alternatives are available or use mini chocolate eggs and wrap in cellophane.

Optional - Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Scallop Rectangle Large die S4 – 133.

Step One

Using JS Elegance Satin Paper 160gsm, print out the Easter Rabbits and matching backing paper from CD2 of JS Hollypond Hill CD set.

You will use the two smaller toppers, the gift tag and the roundel.

All printers size slightly differently and you may need to trim the toppers slightly if you are using the Spellbinders die, or make your mirri mats larger.

Step Two

Using JS Stardream card cut out:-

Two pieces of card - 12cms x 21cms for Front and Back panels. Score and mountain fold at 7.5cms from the bottom edge.

Two pieces of card - 15cms x 9cms for Side panels.

One piece of card - 16.5cms x 12cms for Lid.

Step Three

Measure, mark, score and cut away the green segments on the lid and side panels as shown. Crease the score lines.

Step Four

Using Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Scallop Rectangle Large die (approx. 8cms x 10cms) cut five rectangles (A).

Cut two rectangular strips (B) 1.5cms x 12cms and two strips (C) 1.5cms x 7.5cms for the sides of the lid.

If you don’t have the rectangle die, cut two rectangles 8cms x 10cms for the front and back panels, and three rectangles 6cms x 10cms for the side panels and lid.

Step Five

Trim three of the rectangles as shown, joining the pieces together at the back using a spare piece of 160gsm paper. Mount pieces of backing paper measuring 5.5cms x 9.5cms onto the mirri card.

Step Six

Mount the toppers (A) onto gold mirri card,

Mount two pieces of backing paper 1cms x 11.5cms and two pieces of backing paper 1cms x 7cms (D & E) onto gold mirri card.

When the backing paper of side panels (B) and lid (C) are mounted onto the gold mirri card the join in the mirri card cannot be seen.

Step Seven

Mount the backing paper toppers onto the side panels as shown. Allow extra space at the top of the panels, so the lid when in place, does not cover the toppers.

Step Eight

Mount the toppers on the front and back panels. Line them up with the toppers on the side panels.

Step Nine

Attach the side panels to the back panel of the card as show.

Step Ten

Mount the topper and the sides on the lid. Fold in the tabs and make up the lid. Use either Cosmic Shimmer Glue or Pinflair glue gel to stick the tabs and secure with a paper clip until dry.

Step Eleven

Cut a piece of JS Stardream card 18.5cms x 11.8cms and measure, mark and score as shown.

Trace the outline of the base of the rabbit and cut out as shown.

Mountain fold the score lines, apply red liner tape and stick together to form a sleeve.

Step Twelve

Shows the sleeve when assembled and the rabbit “footprint” cut out.

Step Thirteen

Fix the base of the front panel to the base of the back panel using red liner tape.

Add a roundel to decorate the inside of the front panel.

Insert the sleeve and locate the rabbit. My rabbit came with a small bell attached. I removed the bell for safety.

Cut a small rectangle of gold mirri card and fix to the gift tag. Tie the box with ribbon and add the gift tag.
