Get Well Birds

This pretty project was made using the Jane Shasky Cardmaking Collection Pad 2 and our Ivy Corner Signature die. It is such a lovely card and would brighten up anyone who was feeling under the weather.

7” square card blank in white
Rose card
White card
Green card
Trellis paper or similar
Ribbon or trim
Rose ribbon
Sentiment from pad
Die of your choice for sentiment
Double sided tape, tape runner or glue.
Foam Pads or glue gel

1. Take the rose card and cut a square to fit the card blank with some border showing, glue down.

2. Take the white card and cut to lay on the rose with a small border, do not attach yet.

3. Cut some trellis paper or similar paper of your choice and lay onto the white, again with a border showing and glue down.

4. Cut out the bird bath image and mount onto rose then white card. Attach this with glue or double sided tape, in the middle towards the top.

5. Add some ribbon or trim of your choice down the sides.

6. Wrap the rose ribbon around the white card with the trellis paper attached. Stick the ends to the back, then stick down the white card onto the rose.

7. Die cut your ivy corner in green and attach to the top left corner. Cut out the decoupage flowers from the bird bath page and attach to the ivy with foam pads.

8. Cut out the sentiment and either attach as it is, matt and layer or die cut a shape to mount it on, as in the picture.

9. Cut out the yellow bird and add on top of the greeting.
