Step One

The main focus for this project is the rose topper from the Lisa Audit cardmaking pad along with the Joanna Sheen `tea cup` Signature die and the Signature MDF bunting embellishment.

Step Two

Print off a light green lace and the lilac gingham design from the backing paper section on the Jayne Netley Mayhew Digistamp CD Rom, onto a piece of the Joanna Sheen Elegance Satin ~ 160gsm Paper. Place the Harriet lace edger die along the bottom of the lace paper. Cut the piece through a die cutting machine.

Step Three

Move the die along and match up the pattern before cutting the die shape out again. Make a card blank by joining 2 pieces of the Foundations coconut card together so it creates an 8” x 8” square card. Cut the paper to 5 of the lace scallops wide and so the finished depth is 7 ¼ “from edge of the paper to the tip of the die edge.

Step Four

Cut the lilac gingham paper so it measures 7 ¼ “x 7 ¼ “square and mount onto a piece of white card leaving a very thin 2mm border all around the edges. Distress the white edges with some Victorian velvet distress ink on a Creative Expressions smoothie.

Step Five

Cut the rose border so it fits down the edge of the lace die cut panel and attach it using some double sided tape. The design can be used either down the side......

Step Six

or for a different look the panel can be placed with the border along the top of the card.

Step Seven

Mount the gingham backing paper to the card with some foam tape and for this project the panel is going to be placed down the side and is attached using some foam tape. Now mount the rose topper onto a piece of coconut card and place it onto the card so it overlaps the rose border. Add the Signature MDF bunting in the top corner of the card.

Step Eight

Trim the small topper from the paper pad sheet and mount this onto a small piece of white card and do the same with the tag.

Step Nine

Trim the tea bag tag so it`s removed from its packaging and place it on the reverse of the small topper.

Step Ten

Loop the tea bag end through the hole in the tag and make a loop feature. Use a glue dot to attach the tea bag to the tag before making a double bow in the hemp cord and placing it on the top of the tag.

Step Eleven

Cut the Signature tea pot / cup & saucer die shape out in some coconut card and arrange them in the bottom of the card. Trim down the `Happy Anniversary` sentiment and mount it onto a piece of white card before adding to the over the topper to complete the card.

Step Twelve

The co-ordinating tag has been used to add a tea bag on it which can be removed and used. The tea flavour is detailed on the back of the mini topper and makes a nice feature to a project.

Just change the sentiment or use a die cut sentiment to suit the required occasion.
