House-Mouse Decoupage and Filigree Card by Sheila Weaver

1 8” Square Card and Envelope.
1 A4 Sheet Gloss Photo Paper.
1 A4 Sheet Gold Mirri Card.
1 A4 Sheet Light Green Card.

Sticky Stuff – I used Pinflair Glue Gel, Cosmic Shimmer Glue, Double Sided Tape and Foam Pads.

Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads Shabby Shutters and Stormy Sky. Distress Ink Marker Stormy Sky.


Step One

Using photo paper print out the decoupage sheet from the House Mouse Decoupage CD.


Step Two

Using gold mirri card cut out the Filigree Aperture die.

Using light green card cut out six of the Spring Blossom die.  Colour the leaves and stem using Tim Holtz Shabby Shutters Distress Ink Pad.  Tint the tiny flowers blue using Tim Holtz Stormy Sky Distress Marker.


Step Three

Using Tim Holtz Stormy Sky Distress Ink Pad, tint the edges of the 8" card.

Position the Filigree die-cut on the front of the card and lightly mark where it is to be positioned.


Step Four

Position three of the flower sprigs under the filigree die-cut and stick into place.

Stick the filigree die-cut to the card.


Step Five

Mount the topper onto a piece of gold mirri card and attach to the card on top of the filigree die-cut covering the aperture.

Attach two more flower sprigs to the card.


Step Six

Build the remaining decoupage layers and attach the last flower sprig.

Mount the sentiment on a piece of gold mirri card and attach to the front of the card.

The card blank comes with a matching envelope.
