1 A4 Sheet Foundations Milk Card.
1 A4 Sheet Foundations  Black Card
1 A4 Sheet Gentle Gloss Photo Paper.
1 A4 Sheet Elegance Satin 160gsm Paper.

Sticky Stuff – I used double sided tape and Foam Pads.

Janet Kruskamp “The Collection” CD.

Signature Die – Border Flourish SD015.

A4 Die-cutting machine.

Step One

Using Gentle Gloss Photo Paper print out two of the largest Café topper images from the Food and Drink section on the Janet Kruskamp “The Collection” CD.  You may need to resize your images, which should measure no more than 15.5cms x 8cms.

Print out a coordination sentiment on the same sheet of photo paper.

How to print out a single image and import it into a graphics or word processing programme is explained on the CD.

Using JS Elegance Satin 160gsm paper, print out a coordinating backing paper.

Mount the toppers onto black Foundations card leaving a 1mm border

Step Two

Trim an A4 sheet of Foundations Milk card to measure 29.7cms x 19.5cms.

Measure mark, score and cut the card as shown.  Do not fold the score lines yet.

Step Three

Using the Signature Die Border Flourish SD015 cut a flourish out of a piece of spare card.  Position it on the card and decide how you want to cut your fancy die-cut edge.  I marked the centre of the middle panel (orange dot) to help me position where I wanted my die to cut.

Step Four

Position the die centrally as shown and mark the point where the die touches the red score line (shown by the green dot).

Step Five

Cut vertically down the red score lines to the green dots (shown by the green lines) to create two slits.

Using the two slits as a guide place the die on top of the centre panel and behind the two side panels and secure with low tack sticky tape (shown in pink).

Cut using an A4 die-cutting machine.

Step Six

Position the die how you want your side panels to cut, secure with low tack tape and cut.

Step Seven

Position the centre panel over a scoreboard and score two vertical lines as shown in blue.

Mountain fold red lines and valley fold blue lines.

Step Eight

The illustration shows the card once the score lines have been folded.

Step Nine

Cut two pieces/strips of backing paper 2cms x 10.5cms.

Cut one piece/strip of backing paper 4cms x 10.5cms.

Mount the strips onto Foundations black card leaving a 2mm border round all four sides.

Attach to the centre three panels as shown.

Trim and mount a sentiment on the centre panel.

Attach the two toppers to the side panels using foam pads.

This card will fit in a C5 envelope providing measurements were accurate.  Otherwise you will need a larger envelope.
