Flowers and Leaves
I am always associated with flowers and there are indeed some lovely floral dies on the market - but where are the leaves! These are leaves that I think will come in really handy for use with flower dies and also bought paper flowers - details like the rosehips and berries to go with each die too!
These dies work with most tabletop die cutting machines, such as the Cuttlebug, Big Shot, Vagabond, Grand Calibur etc
Holly is a real must have for Christmas cards. These are dainty leaves that will be ideal to use on smaller cards but also to make trails and corners on larger cards. Fun to cut out the berries in red too!
Ivy is one of my favourite plants. It looks amazing in hanging baskets and goes just as well with roses as it does with holly - a real multi purpose leaf. Most importantly this die has some lovely berries that you can cut out in the dark blue/black that they come in - it changes the look altogether!
Who can resist a kiss under the mistletoe (well ok maybe it depends who it is!). This inexpensive little die will add a pretty touch to your Christmas cards - how about a spray on the back of the card?
Rose leaves are eternally useful, even with flowers other than roses. But this die also has rosehips which is a detail that other people often miss and I think it adds a really beautiful touch to your card.
This is a general purpose leaf that you can use with many different flowers. The stamens and centres will help finish off other flower dies that you may have - or you could add to some simple paper flowers that you have bought.
For winter birthdays or Christmas - these fir tree pieces will make a wonderful corner embellishment or if you cut them several times - how about a centrepiece for a rustic Christmas card.
This is a real wow of a die - so delicate and feminine. I diecut it in white and then used alcohol ink pens to colour the leaves, daisies and bow in separate colours - or of course you can cut it out in green or any other colour to suit your card!
