Using the JS 160gsm Elegance Satin photo paper, print out the matching backing paper.
Using an A4 sheet of JS Stardream card, landscape orientation, measure, mark, score and fold as shown to create a gatefold card.
Cut out the largest topper from the topper sheet. Mount the topper on a piece of red mirri card leaving a narrow mirri border.
Cut a piece of Stardream card 14.8csm x 11.4cms and cover with a piece of backing paper of the same size.
Centre and mount the topper “A” on top of the backing paper.
For the top and bottom panels “B” cut two pieces of Stardream card 4.8cms x 14.8cms and cover each with a piece of red mirri card of the same size.
Cut two pieces of backing paper 4cms x 14cms and mount on top of the mirri card.
Mount the sentiment on a piece of red mirri card leaving a narrow border.
The illustration shows the card when the gate is folded. Check that the panels and topper fit and cover the front of the card, adjusting if necessary.
Attach one panel “B” to the top of the right-hand gate.
Attach the topper “A” to the centre of the left-hand gate.
Attach the second panel “B” to the bottom of the right-hand gate.
I attached the topper and panels using foam pads checking that the pads did not over sail the gate.
Attach the sentiment to the front of the card. The illustration shows the completed card when closed.
