2 A4 Sheets JS Stardream Card – I used Citrine.
1 A4 Sheet JS Elegance Satin 160gsm Paper.
1 or 2 A4 Sheet JS Gentle Gloss 180gsm Photo Paper.
1 A4 Sheet JS Gold Mirri Card.
1 A4 Sheet JS Blue Mirri Card.
1 A4 Sheet 100/120gsm paper for insert.
Approx 10cms Edged Organza Ribbon to complement the topper. – I used a Gold Metallic Promarker to colour the ribbon.
Sticky Stuff – I used Double Sided Tape, and Pinflair Glue Gel
JS Josephine Wall Project Book and CD.
Optional – Duster Brushes, Tim Holtz Distress Pads – I used Aged Mahogany, Fired Brick and Tea Dye.
Using JS Gentle Gloss 180gsm Photo Paper, print out Page One of Image Fourteen on the JS Josephine Wall Projects CD. You will only use the main image and one (the largest) layer of the decoupage.
If you are printing a coordinating sentiment you will need an extra sheet of JS Gentle Gloss 180gms Photo Paper.
Using JS 160gsm Elegance Satin Paper, print out the matching backing sheet.
Mount the topper onto layers of blue and gold mirri card. The mounted topper should measure approximately 13.5cms x 17cms.
Mount the sentiment onto layers of blue and gold mirri card creating a narrow border. The mounted sentiment should measure approximately 7cms x 1.8cms. Cut two pieces of ribbon 5cms long and fix to the back of the sentiment as illustrated. Attach the ribbon to the back of the topper, leaving approximately 0.5cms ribbon visible at the bottom of the topper.
Mount the topper onto a piece of JS Stardream card, measuring approximately 14.5cms x 18cms.
Optional – before mounting, use a duster brush and Tim Holtz Distress Ink Dyes which complement the image. Add colour by stippling the section of card which will be seen when the topper is mounted.
Using an A4 sheet of JS Stardream card, landscape orientation, measure and mark the card as shown. (See step 5 for scoring and cutting lines).
Cut two pieces of backing paper to fit the side flaps and attach.
Cut a half-insert to fit the centre panel inside the card.
Fold the flap down to the front, and attach two strips of double sided tape as illustrated.
Lightly mark the reverse of the topper as shown. If your topper is a different size you will need to adjust the markings, so the topper will sit at the correct angle on the stand.
Attach the topper to the flap on the front of the stand.
The illustration shows the reverse of the card and how the topper sits on the stand.
Add one layer of decoupage to the topper.
Optional – cut the roundel from the backing paper, mount onto gold mirri card and attached to the back of the card.
This card will fold down and fit in a C5 envelope.
