1 A4 Sheet JS Elegance Satin 300gsm Card.
1 A4 Sheet JS Elegance Satin 160gsm Paper.
1 A4 Sheet JS Gentle Gloss Photo Paper.
1 A4 Sheet Gold Mirri Card.
Sticky Stuff – I used Double Sided Tape and Cosmic Shimmer Glue.
The Gruffies & Happy Hoppers CD.
The card is sized to fit the JS Lace Edger 1 Die and is cut using an A4 Die Cutting Machine.
Optional- Spellbinders Opulent Ovals small die (or similar) to neaten corners.
Using JS Gentle Gloss Photo paper print out the largest topper and matching sentiment, as shown, from the JS Gruffies & Happy Hoppers CD. As sizing on printers differ slightly, re-size the topper to approximately 12.5cms x 8.5cms.
Using JS Elegance Satin 160gsm paper, print out the matching backing paper.
Mount the topper on a piece of gold mirri card and a piece of the backing paper. The mounted topper should measure 13.9cms x 10cms to fit the centre panel
Cut a piece of JS Elegance Satin 300gms card 29.7cms x 20cms.
Mark with a small pencil dot (shown in black) the centre of the card on all four sides.
Create the tri-fold card, by measuring, marking, scoring and cutting as shown.
Do not fold the score lines yet.
Using Signature Die - Lace Edger 1 SD009, mark the centre of the die on the reverse.
Landscape orientation position the Die centrally along the edge of the card and cut.
It helps to secure the die into position using low tack tape or similar.
The illustration shows the card after die-cutting. The score lines extend to the edge of the card but have been omitted so the die-cut can be seen more clearly.
Move the die to the right and carefully position it in the cut section of the card as shown. Secure using low tack tape and cut.
The die does not extend up to the corner of the card and this will be trimmed later.
Repeat with the left-hand side of the edge of the card, again the die should not extend up to the corner of the card.
Centre the die vertically down the side of the card and cut. Repeat with the opposite side edge.
You should have four uncut corners. Please see the next illustration.
The Illustration shows the card after all four sides have been cut using the Lace Edger Die. Two of the corners have been neatened using a small Spellbinders die. The other two corners are still to be neatened.
Open the card out flat.
Using a piece of the backing paper cut seven of the Leafy Twist die. Attach a die-cut to each side of the card. Trim and arrange the other die-cuts as shown. This is a versatile die, and using parts of the die, create different effects.
This card will fit in a C5 Envelope.
